The set includes cards released in Japan between 1999 and 2004. Many of these cards have been long awaited for by the US players. These cards have high collectors value. An individual 5-card pack contains 2 Secret Rares and 3 Super Rares. The Premium Pack is the first booster product to contain all foil cards.

Two cards are new art variants of previously printed Konami video game insert cards.

11 of the cards have appeared on TV either in classic Yu-Gi-Oh! or on Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. 5 of them were cards used by the original show's main character.

Packaging monster, "Magician of Black Chaos" is used by Yugi on the TV show.
