In a faraway land in the midst of a verdant forest crossed by the Crystal River lies the small kingdom of Brightspring, ruled by the wise Queen Beavery, who is facing a problem: Her four regions are separated by seven bridges, and to divide her time evenly between the subjects of these regions, the kingdom would need an eighth bridge. Kingdom Crossing is a strategic route-planning and engine-building game played on a shared map of regions connected by bridges. Each turn, players choose action tiles to rest for income or move their worker, hiring characters, activating structures, and collecting bonuses. Efficient movement, smart upgrades, and timely completion of shared bridge goals and personal objectives determine who builds the strongest engine and scores the most points over four rounds.
- STRATEGIC ROUTE-PLANNING: Join Queen Beavery in the verdant forest of Brightspring to solve the kingdom's transport troubles! Navigate a shared map of four regions and use clever route-planning to connect the land. Your ability to move efficiently across the Crystal River is the key to victory.
- SATISFYING ENGINE BUILDING: Every decision builds your power. Choose action tiles to rest for vital income or move your worker to hire unique characters and activate powerful structures. Optimize your upgrades to create a self-sustaining engine that outpaces your rivals over four intense rounds.
- SHARED & PERSONAL OBJECTIVES: Balance community needs with your own secret goals! Compete with other players to complete shared bridge-building milestones while simultaneously fulfilling your personal objectives for massive point bonuses at the end of the game.
- DYNAMIC SHARED MAP: Experience a game board that evolves with every play. Because players interact on a shared map of regions connected by seven (and eventually eight) bridges, your opponents' movements and construction choices will constantly reshape your tactical options.
